I started writing basic HTML sites in high school. Moved into computer support, server administration, and network engineering, but still hear the call of coding sometimes.

WI Power Outages

This is a project inspired by hopping between several utility websites to track power outages in regions I support. I pull JSON files of outages from 3 different power utilities, plot them on a Google Map, and it lists their status on hover (except Alliant...). I also recently added radar tiles from IA state university using an open API.

Listening Post

I've also been involved with music since high school, lately moving into the sound and light production space. With the purchase of a new digital mixer, I'm starting to book gigs as Listening Post sound and lighting productions. More than just live music, I can also provide production for non-profit, corporate, and other events at a reasonable price.
